Gretel returned to Hogwarts in the fall, determined to finish her last year of school with high NEWT scores and with hopes of somehow making the world a better place. She spent most of her time being outraged at the state of things and playing Quidditch. During the Easter hols, Gretel took a trip to Diagon Alley with her three older brothers and was injured during a Death Eater attack. She passed away while being held at St Mungos overnight.
